Clothes were haphazardly strewn across the room and a single, empty bottle lay carelessly on its side next to the bed. The glasses had been abandoned back at the table.
Conrad winced as he took his first step that morning. He frowned at the lonely bottle, thinking it would have been less embarrassing if they had only had a few more of those, but neither he nor Raven could hold their liquor.
There were no words as they hastily parted. It was a compromising situation after all and neither of them enjoyed being compromised no matter how often they were.
