Author’s Note: I don’t actually remember the canon of this series very well. So, hopefully this works out. And I tried my hand at one of those 100 word drabble type things. Sorry, the fulfillment came so long after the request!


The Flood

The sky rolled with heavy, dark clouds. And just like every other time it had rained in recent years, Chichiri’s thoughts turned to that day.

It was the last day he’d had two perfectly functioning eyes, but he had never been so blind. A rage had flared inside him like none other as he watched his best friend kiss his fiancée. He hated how right they looked together, and he wanted it gone.

Then the flood washed it all away. The plans he’d made, the people he loved, the person he was, and the person he thought he had been.
